Meet Taylor Flynn, AMFT
Associate Clinical Psychotherapist
Taylor Flynn, AMFT
Hello, and welcome. Thank you for taking the time to learn about me as we consider working together.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Applied Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (#133878) in California under the supervision of Steven R. Hobbs, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have worked as a community mental health therapist, school counselor, and therapist in private practice.
I work with adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families. My work focuses on helping clients facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, relational issues, life transitions, suicidal ideation/self-harm, and trauma (general trauma issues, as well as a focus in betrayal trauma). I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy based on client needs by incorporating therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral, emotion-focused, dialectical behavioral, narrative, and systemic therapies. I seek to provide a compassionate and non-judgmental environment as I walks alongside clients on their journey towards meaningful life change and self growth.
Feel free to contact me regarding working together; I may be reached at 805-253-2140 or Taylor@ThrivingFamiliesTherapy.com. You may also contact my supervisor, Steven R. Hobbs, regarding working with me or with general questions about the Thriving Families organization; he may be reached at 805-557-8916 or Steven@ThrivingFamiliesTherapy.com.
